The Failing Democratic Leadership

The Democratic party has been losing elections with greater frequency and appear to on track to continue this trend.
How did this happen?
They have some of the most popular politicians in Senator Sanders, Senator Warren and a popular outgoing president in President Obama.

Points Of Failure

• Coastal Focus: The DNC is putting more efforts into the coastal states and largely ignore the so called "fly over" states.
• Republican Lite: The Democratic party has moved farther to the political Right and big donor money. They are also trying to make nominees support the entire party platform rather than their local constituents.
• Disrespecting and attacking Bernie Sanders: One of the most popular people on the Democratic side (even if he is an independent) he is dragged out and used for appeals to the political Left, minorities, labor, and scientists. However even though they seem to want his support they wont let him have a seat at the table. Its almost like they think its 1950 and he is a woman.
• Weakness: They keep yielding and wont fight back when attacked.  Instead playing the victim card.
• Lack of Integrity: The Democratic Leadership refuses to take responsibility for thier actions and decision in the 2016 election. While it is true that too much media focus was on the email scandal it is also true that had Hillary Clinton not used a personal server it would not have been an issue.  They did not have a fair primary and most wont admit it, at least publicly.
• Poor Messaging: They failed to reach Americans with messages that inspire and positively motivate voters.
• Part of the Establishment:  This is really the biggie.  Americans  are tired of politicians and keep voting for whomever is percieved as the Anti-Establishment candidate.  Senator Sanders won so many primaries in large part becasue of this.  President Obama won in large part becasue he was percieved asAnti-Establishment and President Trump was percieved as less establishment than Clinton.

How To Succeed

Justice Democrats is a group within the political party to take money out of politics by only voting for those who do not take money from Big Donors or Super Pacs.

Personally I feel the Democratic party is done and will not get better.  I have seen nothing this year that indicates they learned the lessons from the past. However many people want to try and feel a third party wont work in our political system and their is evidence of that.
