Appearance

Slender appearing humanoids with dark skin covered in golden tattoos. They have clawed hands and high pointed ears like some canines and a canine shaped head. They typically wear dark kilts with belt pouches. They disdain shoes, heavier clothing and weapons in favor of the ability to travel with little encumbrance.

Culture

Not much is known of their culture, or if they truly have one. They hunt in small packs of 5 to 10 in and near the Blasted Lands looking for Outsiders, Elder Things, etc. Occasionally they can be seen farther away but if so they are typically Shadow Speakers, or in the company of one. Occasionally they will travel with adventurers in hopes of finding and cleansing minor Outsider and Elder Thing threats. They come off as polite but aloof to other races, and rarely socialize.

Warfare

Shadow hunters rely primarily on their claws and natural armor to fight foes, though some learn advanced martial and chi techniques, or even magic. They hunt in small packs with members spreading out and relying on their strong voices to summon pack mates when they find signs of prey.
They are fearless, but know their limits and will call for help as needed.
