Description: Giant sea turtles said to be spawn of Ben Ben. They are very long lived and considered elder wise ones by the rest of the People of the River due their age and ability to communicate with spirits. They can walk on land and will lay eggs on the beech once every 10 years, always in the spot they were originally hatched from.
Physically they have about a 30’ diameter shell at maturity (SM 4+1). The stats above reflect a young adult.about 12' long (head to tail) and 15' wide (flipper to flipper).that weighs about 4,000 pounds.
They do not have solid shells, instead they have external ribs with a thin carapace stretching over that.  They are omnivorous but need a lot of meat, usually attacking squid.
