The great and powerful King of Fire and wisdom is the Phoenix
There are three variant religions, each serving a different aspect of the Phoenix.
Knights of the Phoenix (Preservation)
A very well respected and powerful religious order using magic based on GURPS Powers: Divine Favor with an emphasis on Fire, Lore and Combat spells. They are a military order whose purpose is to hunt down and destroy Outsiders and things that violate the Natural Order. They also are the police and state rule enforcement force. The serve the Phoenix and upon death are tossed in his volcano where their knowledge and spirits become one with the Phoenix.
Order of the Phoenix (Creation, Knowledge)
Protecters and healers, they represent the wise and renewal aspect of fire.
Order of Rapire (Destruction, Warfare)
This order represents the cleansing and violent nature of fire, many are berserkers.
