In the beginning ...

                                                 there existed Erebus the living darkness and Aether the living light.
One day Nabu (the Scribe) appeared and started writing the book of creation, and as he did so creation began.
First he created the brothers Anvil, Gibil (Fire, Forge, and Kiln), Hammer, and their sister Quench to assist him.

Gibil represents creative and destructive aspect of fire.
