Vampire
-10 points
This is the template for the common vampire, though additional abilities are very common.
Vampires are created by dying due to being drained by a vampire and then being subjected to a special spirit based (as opposed to magical) ritual. Vampirism is actually a disease of the spirit that is passed on to those killed by Vampire Lords and then through the more common vampire. It takes a special ritual to animate the infected and those infected but do not get the ritual tend to become hungry ghosts.Since this is an affliction of the spirit a lot of supernatural traits, including disadvantages are passed along, The new vampire is considered undead and requires feeding on blood to heal and empower its body and a specific emotion to heal its spirit and empower specific abilities. Without both, it eventually goes dormant.
